THE CASTELLO VECCHIO

This baroque ensemble from the Music Academy of Woluwe-St-Lambert (Belgium) was created in 2004 by Bernard Wolteche and students of various ancient music classes. They first participated in the International Youth Meeting of Malmö that same year, where they presented various vocal and instrumental pieces by J.S. Bach. Since then, concerts are regularly given throughout Belgium.

The Castello Vecchio's concerts are the occasion to discover baroque and Renaissance music instruments, to listen to organ as well as vocal pieces of the Baroque repertoire. Choirs, teachers and soloists join-in to make each concert a festive musical explosion !
